Collaboration
Consultation and collaboration with our client, user groups, consultants and advisors are critical to the success of a project. Kneeler Design Architects will listen and have an interactive relationship with our Client. Our highly experienced team will communicate extensively to increase our understanding of the Client’s needs, aims and expectations. This focus enables the delivery of a best practice service specifically appropriate to the project.

Site Response
In all projects the design is informed by a thorough investigation of the site and responds to the individual site opportunities and constraints. As such, each project will have an innovative and appropriate site responsive design and will be unique to its surroundings.
Sustainable Design
The consideration of passive design, facility efficiency and environmental impact is integral to the design process. We review existing structures for the possibility of refurbishment, giving new life to outdated facilities. The opportunity to improve occupant comfort and productivity, reduce operational costs and educate the community in sustainable practices are embraced.
Biophilic Design
The KDA design team explore opportunities to incorporate biophilic principles within all our projects, acknowledging the potential to improve occupant comfort and well being and increase social connectivity whilst providing wider environmental benefits.
Universal Design
In all projects undertaken, KDA adopt a user centred design which integrates inclusive environments with flexible experiences. The buildings, their environment and the experiences offered within, are designed to be innately accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their age, level of ability, cultural background and differentiating factors. KDA have extensive experience designing facilities for all cohorts.
Delivery
While providing a customised outcome is the aim of each project, our extensive experience in public architecture also allows us to understand the importance of time and budget requirements. We will establish a detailed program to ensure the key targets of the project are met.
