Robert Bienvenu — Managing Director

Robert and Penelope Mulholland founded Kneeler Design Architects (KDA) in 1989 after working with other prominent architects. 36 years on, the firm has evolved into a well established, 15-staff powerhouse. Under Robert’s leadership, KDA has earned numerous public and education architectural awards on local, Australasian, and international levels in recognition of its pursuit of exceptional outcomes. Robert is also deeply committed to nurturing and training his staff, fostering long-term loyalty and dedication. This unique combination of expertise and experience has contributed to KDA’s continued success and reputation.

A lifelong passion for cricket has seen Robert captain the AIA Architects team and contributed to Cricket Australia’s Cricket Facility Design Guide (2015-2017). Moreover, he has a fondness for classic cars and served as President of the Australian Lancia Register for 15 years.
