Dominic On — Architectural Graduate

Dominic On joined Kneeler Design Architects in 2017 and has experience in designing and delivering public and private education facilities across an array of scales and contexts, from compact adaptive reuse projects to entire new school campuses. He has taught and worked in both Malaysia and Australia, allowing him to draw from his cross-cultural experiences to design sensitively for diverse user groups and contexts. With a keen eye for detail and focus on draughtsmanship, he specialises in BIM management and documentation. He has a passion for art and is interested in the intersection of artistic practice and architectural design.

Dominic believes that traditional ways of making can sharpen the senses in ways that inform and enrich the creation of architectural space — he has illustrated several published children’s books, regularly paints landscapes en plein air, and has recently taken up wood carving.
