Nunawading Christian College’s Early Learning Centre provides a combination of Long Day Care, Kindergarten and Out of School Hours Care. The centre is owned and operated by the Seventh- Day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd and works with Nunawading Christian College Primary and Secondary.
The early learning centre is nestled in the midst of the primary learning areas, allowing for great transition to school programs. The construction of the primary school modernisation project allowed excess existing facilities to be refurbished as additional pre-school rooms.
Sharing the K- 12 campus means children enjoy more learning opportunities at a younger age, including Bible, music, science, art, sport and LOTE (Mandarin). When it’s time to graduate to Prep, students enjoy an easier transition as they’re already familiar with the teachers and environment of primary school.
The Nunawading Christian College Early Learning Centre is designed to encourage play-based learning and runs a ‘Bush Kinder’ program, aiming to connect children with the natural world and give them a better appreciation and respect for their natural environment. The Nunawading Biralee Bundaleer program takes special care to embed Indigenous culture perspectives into the program.
