The Broadmeadows Primary School Kindergarten and Community Hub is co-located with Hume Central Secondary College, the Broadmeadows English Language Centre and Broadmeadows Primary School. The hub was deliberately master planned to be situated towards the front of the site, highly visible and accessible from the street and in very close proximity to the primary school. Its integration within the campus represents the importance of early childhood development to life-long learning and the benefit of incorporating a wide variety of community services within educational facilities. The facility consists of two preschool rooms offering three and four year old kindergarten programs and four community/consulting rooms, with spaces that encourage independence of children through easily accessible lockers, sinks, benches and equipment storage.
