Adventist Schools Victoria (ASV) was established in 2003 to oversee the provision of quality learning and teaching in Victorian Seventh-day
Adventist schools.
The head office provides direct support, specialist advice and administrative services to schools in areas such as finance and accounting, human resources and payroll, information communications technology, occupational health and safety, child protection, and spiritual and pastoral care. ASV also manages enterprise risk and compliance, with the CEO accountable to the ASV board of directors.
Although only established in 2003, by 2020 Adventist Schools Victoria head office had outgrown their existing space co-located on the site
of Nunawading Christian College.
Kneeler Design Architects were engaged to provide full design services for the fit-out of a vacant office building in Burwood. Starting with an empty shell, this project not only provided the additional floor area needed to accommodate its growing staff, it also presented an opportunity for ASV to reassert their identity in a new head office space.
Continuing its growth, and now supporting six K-12 schools in Victoria, Stage 2 saw the expansion of ASV head office into an adjacent
tenancy within the building.
The design and construction of both stages addresses issues of privacy and acoustics acknowledging the sensitivity of child safety, financial
and human resource functions taking place within the office.
The new layout provides a variety of work space options, offering dedicated offices, collaborative workspaces, provision for hot desking and conference rooms spaces.
